Noise Pop has come and gone. Industry noise was a pleasant day with a lot of speakers. I took notes so that you wouldn’t have to.

Industry noise is a collection of industry professionals that get together once a year to talk about trends in the music industry. The goal is to help those aspiring to be in the industry have a glimpse at what is happening around them. They’re fun…. but I can’t help thinking, how many can I go to before they become stale.

These are my notes… enjoy:

ADVICE TO NOISE POP

1. Industry Noise is for bands and aspiring industry professionals…
It cost $65 in advance and $125 the day of… and no bands attend!
LOWER THE PRICE!
2. It’s boring to listen to a panel where everybody agrees.
Can you stop being so “SF NICE?”

SF Intercom Goal:

1. Create an industry survival event that bands want and need.
2. Invite young up and coming trend setting industry professionals.
3. Make it affordable.
4. Start the BUZZ…..
(It will be a must see event! )
