Thee Parkside screams indie rock from its swinging bar doors down to its grungy bathroom. The bar is dark and serves drinks for countless indie shows, including Wiretap’s feature events. How can you not agree with its self-proclamation as “San Francisco’s Premier Dive Venue.”
PROMOTION
The club covers ads with SF Bay Guardian, The Onion, and concert listings on KUSF.
Bands must not flyer upon any public property (lamp post, utility pole, street signs, etc.) within the City and County of San Francisco.

YES! This bar is kick ass.
Boom has recently taken a bunch of sound classes and its really payed off. He can really make a band sound great!
Also all the staff there are super chill and great to work with. Every time I try to throw a show at a different venue I think “why did I even try?” cause Thee Parkside really has it all for me ;)
Here is my list of the great things about this bar:
1. indoor/outdoor
2. can be all ages
3. AWESOME food… seriously they have amazing salads, vegan options, killer burgers and the best fries in town (get the garlic aoli spread)
4. PHOTOBOOTH… yes indeed they do.
5. If Boom is working… great sound
6. big stage
7. great people who work there.
8. Queer Friendly
Bad Things:
1. bathrooms are nasty… for dudes its ok cause they can point and shoot… but for a lady… not so fun when you have to hover over piss, shit, and unidentified goop. Also there is never any soap or towels. yuckers.
2. The distance… not easy to get a cab at the end of the night.
But honestly the Good Things out weigh the bad by far. So for me this place is golden
