STEPS 5 & 6 OF PERSONIFY

Create a Persona

article by: Stefan Aronsen

The 5 P’s of survival are Plan, Personify, Promote, Plug-in and Play. You now have survival tips 1-4 of Personify. Today I give you #5 and #6

5 _ CREATE A PRESS KIT: What you put in your press kit changes daily. However, simply having one is extremely important. I recommend keeping it simple, include a band bio, stickers and a cd. Some people may want a band photo, others may just laugh and draw mustaches on them.

6 _ ALWAYS CARRY CONTACT INFO: Similar to the Boy Scouts motto, be prepared, carry contact info implies just that. You never know when you’re going to run into a an industry professional that wants to work with you. Writing on your/their hand is not going to cut it professionally.

Cave Clove and Alzara & Brother Spellbinder on Mutiny Radio

A great show with two very different bands. We got a little rock 'n' roll with Katie Colver ... and then a touch folk with Alzara and her ukulele. The show was a dynamic blast! Please check out the bands on their facebook pages & tune in to my show every Sunday from 6-8pm.
